Public information and addresses
Other users may see nicknames, profile photos, verification badges and public posts. Detailed saved address text is not displayed as entered on public profiles or listings. A listing's map icon may appear near the address-search result or a nearby access road, so surrounding buildings and roads may be inferred. Consider this before using your home as a trading address.
Address autocomplete
Address and place search terms you type are sent to Google Maps Platform for suggestions. Google's processing is subject to its Privacy Policy. Suggestion lists are not saved. Selected or manually entered addresses are reflected when you save a trading address or saved place.
Identity documents and face photos
Wooribayan does not currently collect or store original identity documents or face selfies. Any future identity verification will be announced after legal review, data minimization, separate consent, access controls and retention periods are determined.
Retention, deletion and your rights
Information is retained as needed to provide the service and deleted when an account is closed or its purpose is fulfilled. Account and profile information becomes private immediately on deletion, and the deletion process begins. It may be stored separately for up to 30 days for processing and system cleanup. Deleted accounts cannot currently be restored. Social sign-in identifiers and verified phone numbers used to prevent repeated sign-ups and abuse are converted into non-plaintext, hard-to-reverse verification values and stored separately with the deletion reason for 30 days, then deleted. Even administrators handling rejoining exceptions cannot view the original social account identifiers or phone numbers; they can only view restriction records and action history. Records required for legal obligations or disputes may be retained under separate grounds and periods.
To identify deleted accounts and handle inquiries, the nickname at deletion, sign-up date, deletion date, reason and additional comments are stored separately for up to 30 days, accessible only to administrators. Email, contact details, addresses and profile photos are not kept in this record. Removing or extending a rejoining restriction does not extend this record's retention period.
- You may request access, correction, portability or deletion of your personal information at support@wooribayan.com. After identity verification, information may be provided in a commonly used electronic format. This does not require a separate download button to be available at all times.
- Before formal public launch, the legal identity of the actual data controller, processors, international processing and item-specific retention periods will be finalized and disclosed.
