General listing standards
- List only items you have authority to sell, rent or transfer.
- Use photos you took or have permission to use, with truthful descriptions.
- State prices, condition, defects, trading areas and terms clearly. Do not post duplicate or misleading listings.
- Sports, exercise, golf, bicycles, fishing, camping, instruments, games and collectibles are listed together under Hobbies & leisure without separate subcategories.
Additional category checks
- Vehicles: accurately state registration, ownership, year, mileage, accident and maintenance history, and plate coding details.
- Property: clearly state ownership, rental or brokerage authority, deposits, rent, fees and contract terms.
- Businesses: provide verifiable explanations of transfer authority, included assets, lease arrangements, permits and the basis for revenue records.
Prohibited listings
- Items prohibited by law or requiring authorization you do not hold
- Counterfeit or stolen goods and content infringing others' rights
- Nonexistent items or listings using false terms to solicit contact or payments
- Cash, bank accounts, authentication methods or other items at high risk of misuse for crime or fraud
Status management
Update listing status promptly as trades progress to reserved or completed. Reserved listings are excluded from the home page's recent listings. The team may hide or delete listings requiring policy or report review.
